The Early Years Educators Summit and Awards 2023 (#EYES2023) gathered top educators, experts, policy makers, government officials, amongst others on 27 April 2023 at the Le Royal Meridien, Chennai. A well laid foundation is the breeding ground for great thought leaders and early year educators are at the pivotal point of nurturing and cultivating budding minds. Their roles are crucial in the formation of a well-developed society. In a bid to refresh them with the latest in the industry, the EYES 2023 summit presented thought leaders and facilitated an interaction opportunity for educators to upskill themselves with new techniques and latest theories in education delivery for early year kids.

Having set the platform, the next step was to take up the message to right ears. Thiru Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Honorable Minister for School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu and Dr. Thamizhachi Thangapandian, Member of Parliament, Tamil Poet, Writer, Lyricist & Orator were the apt people for it and they inaugurated the event wishing it a great success.

15 experts including Janaki Sabesh, Dr. Saranya Jaikumar, G.Balasubramanian, Pritam Agrawal, Reeta Sonawat amongst others covered various aspects of early year education ranging from inclusivity in class room, importance of play, mindfulness to storytelling… 250 delegates from across India gathered and discussed on the latest practices and pedagogy in early childhood education through a series of engaging panel discussions and thought-provoking brainstorming sessions.

The conference provided a platform for networking, professional growth, and sharing of best practices in early childhood learning. The highlight of the day was the award ceremony. A list of Top 100 preschools and Top 50 educators was compiled and they were recognised for their exemplary contribution to the field of early year education.

Organised by the Global Educrew In Association with ECDLA, the summit was a grand success and laid foundation to more such events focussing on upskilling educators across the entire education spectrum.

Firstly, congrats to your team for bringing required awareness on Early Childhood Education (ECE) which or else is mostly not recognized……….. The whole event was not just informative but also extremely well organized. It created a warmth and opportunity to collaborate with eminent speakers. It would be appreciated if this is organized every year. Hoping to be a part of more such events in Future.
